We have more news about the upcoming guest starring role that Dexter's Lauren Velez will have in her multiple episode arc. Velez will be playing Elena, a nurse that comes to live with the Suarez family.

It looks like Jesse may not be the only man in Betty's life thanks to her upcoming YETI program. According to Ausiello, Ugly Betty has cast a new love interest in the form of guest star Daniel Eric Gold who will be playing the recurring role of Matt who Betty meets at YETI.
Daniel Eric Gold, who's best known for his role in Charlie Wilson's War, has a series regular option in his contract so who knows on how well this relationship may go. He seems to be very Henry like and wil also have a secret he's hiding from Betty. A secret that could impact her life in a very serious way.
While the news has yet to be confirmed, OK Magazine has word that Lauren Velez (of Dexter fame) has been shooting scenes on Ugly Betty.
While there's been no official word on what character she will be playing, the word is that her scenes have been shot with the Suarez family.

Ugly Betty is no stranger to guest stars, having just had Lindsay Lohan complete her fourth episode, "Ugly Berry," last week. Next up?
Nikki Blonsky, of Hairspray fame, will play an assistant at rival magazine Elle. Blonsky's character will allegedly befriend Betty at first, but with ulterior motives. We can't wait. We're big Hairspray fans and we love drama!
Lindsay Lohan, who was slated to guest star for four more episodes, has been cut from at least two of them according to Kristin of E! Online. Lindsay Lohan, who will be reprising her guest role as Kimmie Keegan, had already filmed her parts for the next two episodes. However, after problems with her on that set, she has been cut from her fifth and sixth appearances.
So just what did Lohan do? Well if you listen to celebrity gossip sites, there were a few problems. First, when Lindsay was originally meant to pants America in the next episode, America reportedly turned the tables and pants Lindsay... only to find out she was wearing no underwear. Additionally, they supposedly had to repaint the damage to her dressing room.
Also, the actress supposedly, in a play for power, refused to show up on set unless America was already there. If that's not bad enough, the anonymous sources report she would sit around and cut out pictures of herself from tabloids and make scrapbooks of herself.
If you listen to the producers of the show, they said, "Lindsay wrapped up her arc, and she's done filming. She did a great job, and we enjoyed having her. Viewers can look forward to her episodes tonight and next week."
Honestly, we're not really sure what to make of all this but we'll miss Lindsay Lohan as Kimmie Keegan. Say what you will about this girl, she really was a good actress and good addition to the show.
